UPDATE -- Nov 12th 10:45 pm Veteran's Day Celebration at the Idabel American Legion.

at the
November 11th program that honored local Vets. Several Members attended, viewed the Veteran's
Museum, then went on to Commemorative Services held at Dennison Cemetery.

Honoring the first Casualty of Viet Nam War from McCurtain County
KIB Veteran's attending Services were also honored.
UPDATE -- Nov 12th -- 10:49 am KIB Parties Scheduled for December
KIB Nursing Home Christmas Party
will be held at the Hills Nursing Home that
is located on Martin Luther King here in Idabel at 6 pm Friday the 12th of December. There will be
a present wrapping party at the Quality Inn at 7pm on Thursday Dec 11th. Those wishing to help with
gathering the wish list for presents, and shop for presents may contact Cathy Martinez for the
specifics on dates and times. ( Dec 9th & 10th Tuesday & Wednesday were tentatively planned )

The KIB Christmas
party will be December 13, 2008 at the Quality Inn. KIB
will provide
food and some liquor. Everyone needs to bring a side dish. Each KIB member can bring one non member
with them. They are giving us a discounted room rate of $60.00 if any one wants to spend the night.
"Remember Safety is First so make your party plans ahead and get your reservations in."
