       From The President:  Dale Young

       President’s Report: Dale Young reported:

     

       1. Move your trailers and tents.

       2. The escort of the WWII monument on Veterans Day was rescheduled to Nov 11th. 

       3. KIB Christmas party 12-12-09 at the land.  KIB will provide a couple of briskets, plates etc. 

           Everyone bring  side dishes.  KIB will buy some liquor and pay the bartender.  Each KIB

           member can bring one non-member with them.  

       4. Senior Citizens Christmas party will be 12-18-09 at McCurtain Manor Nursing Home at 6:00pm. 

           Tim Litchford will play Santa Clause.  Wrapping party 12-16-09 at Steel’s at 7:00pm.

       5. He read an e-mail from OK Rider President Taco thanking KIB for the money we gave one of the

           members that was involved in a motorcycle wreck.

     Keith reported balances for the following Funds:

    Cathy Martinez took the November 1st minutes, and read Oct 4th minutes which were approved.

     1.  11-07-09 there was a poker run for Paul & Elizabeth Milligan.  Their home was lost to fire.

    2.  11-29-09 Toy Drive in Hot Springs Ark.

    3.  12-13-09 Toy for Tots Ride.  Marine Corps Center Texarkana Tx.     

      

    Cans & Playground Report: $289.37 at time of Nov 1st meeting.

      

  Club Committee News

          

      Benevolent Committee: Lowell Grelle - chairperson

     Lowell reported and gave balance of Benevolent Funds:

 

      1. They gave Joyce Slores (Daisy Watson’s Daughter) $200.00 immediate needs check.  She is ill.

      2. They gave Joi Kennedy $200.00 immediate needs check.  Her husband BJ was assaulted and

         put in the hospital.

  

        

     Community Relations & Rally Committee: Sherri Bushers - chairperson

    Sherri Reported:

       1. We had a total of 326 people at the rally.  Thanks to everyone that helped make it a good rally.

 

       Membership News:  Sharon Young - chairperson

     Sharon reported:

        Club will vote on December ballot pertaining to full membership for: Donnie Gray.
      Also was welcomed new members Joe Bob Reed, Linda Hinson and Henry Burns.
 

      Land Development Committee:  Gary Walker - chairperson

      Jeff Deville reported:

       1. November 08, 2009 was a work day to close in the cook shack.

       2. The next project will be to build up the road.

       3.  If any one knows of a good tractor for sale let them know.

 

Club Business

 

      Unfinished Business: 

 

      Dale Young stated there were 6 motions to be discussed and voted on. Motions passed.

 

       1. Motion: To accept Aubrey Gray into KIB with full club membership privileges.  

       2  Motion: To accept Melissa Rowan into KIB with full club membership privileges. 

       3. Motion: To accept Travis Rowan into KIB with full club membership privileges. 

       4. Motion: To accept Pat Ruffin into KIB with full club membership privileges. 

       5. Motion: To accept Ricky Ruffin into KIB with full club membership privileges. 

       6. Motion: To accept Tammy Treadway into KIB with full club membership privileges. 

     

       New Business:

      

      1. Jeff Deville made a motion Lowell Grelle 2nd To add the following statement to the working rules:

          Kiamichi Independent Bikers, Inc is a non-profit, family orientated, social, and community service

          based riding organization/association.

      2. Tom Brents made a motion Sherri Bushers 2nd That the Rally T-shirt booth be budgeted $750.00,

          but not limited to, per rally, plus retain 50% of the T-shirt booth’s profit from the last rally to

          purchase inventory or items necessary to run the booth.             

      3. Tom Brents made a motion Sharon Young 2nd That the funds to purchase for members items only

          come from the general fund and not the T-shirt booth funds.

      4. Tim Litchford made a motion Lowell Grelle 2nd To donate $300.00 from the Benevolent Fund to

          purchase Towels for Troops in KIB name.      

      5.  Vote at Dec 6th meeting To accept Donnie Gray into KIB with full club membership privileges.

 

 

50/50 Drawing was held: won by Leslie Post. a total of $42.00 was collected. 

$21.00 went to and Leslie donated his to the Downed Biker Fund.

 

 

Club Announcements

"For the good of the Club"

 

      1. Dale Young said Jumpy President of the Gypsy’s requested to put a permanent pavilion up on the

          hill and name it Gypsy International.  A show of hands for and against.  Request denied.

      2. Leslie Post said we needed to look at changing our by-laws to protect us from the 1% clubs

          that are now in this area.

      3. Tony Martinez said that pictures needed to be taken with more KIB members when a check is

          given to someone.  If the picture can not be put in the paper than it needs to be put on our web

          page so who visits our web can see the good we do.      

      4. Don Perry asked about the request CMA had about putting a permanent slab where they set up

          at the rally.  Dale said that a show of hands at a meeting voted it in.

      5. Lowell Grelle read a thank you card for the donation from the Smith Family.  He said there was

          a jar at the Alibi for them. 

      6. Keep Monte Davis in your prayers he had gall bladder surgery.
