Lowell went over the priorities of the Benevolent Committee, and that all the money in the fund

comes from the spring and fall rallies.

The Benevolent Committee agreed to give Daisy Watson immediate needs funds in the amount of

$100.00 for driving expense due to illness if the committee agrees to it.

Lowell received an e-mail asking for help with gas for Kevin Colbert who was wounded in action.

Lowell felt this was a gray area in the Benevolent Committee priorities, and would need further

consideration.  A motion was made by Don Perry to give Kevin $200.00 from the general fund.

Community Relations & Rally Committee: Sherri Bushers - chairperson

There was a good turn out for the Kelley & Tammy Freeman Memorial Poker Run.  After all

the donations were made, a total of $1300.00 was raised. Willie German won the low hand and

donated $325.00 back to the fund in honor of Tammy and Kelley Freeman.  Amy Ward won the

high hand winning $325.00 leaving a total of $1020.00 being collected for the Down Biker Fund.

KIB donated to the SOS was given to them with a picture and news story in the paper.  SOS in

return gave KIB a certificate of appreciation, and a thank you letter that Sherri read aloud to club

members.  The funds will go towards helping the with transition of local shelter individuals back

into employment, and in finding new homes, as well as providing them with shoes and clothing.
