A lively group of recycled teenagers got together for their 60th. reunion July 4th. weekend. It was hosted by RubyNell Muse at her beautiful home outside of Heavener, and was well attended.
Several classmates were not here this year and were missed. We also remembered those classmates who have passed since the last reunion. There was a lot of visiting going on, a lot of story-telling, which is normal when a group of 56ers get together, and of course, some good eating. Fingerfoods were provided and the kitchen/dining area was one of the more popular areas of the afternoon. One of the classmates bid farewell by saying, "See you at the 70th", but another thought perhaps trying one a bit sooner than that might be in order. All in all, a very enjoyable afternoon was spent with old (very old) friends.
