Broken Bow TV Cable/Pine Rural TV Cable

Dear Customers:

We are writing to let you know of some upcoming changes in our channel lineup necessitated by our continuing efforts to maintain affordable rates. As you know, as our programming agreements come up for renewal, many programming networks have been demanding huge rate increases that far exceed the value of the programming they provide. Broken Bow/Pine Rural simply can no longer yield to these outrageous demands and has made the very difficult decision to replace certain programming. While we are working to finalize several new programming agreements, we wanted to provide you with some additional information.

The following channel lineup changes will take effect May 1, 2014:

Channel 26:
ESPNu will replace Spike
A sister network to ESPN, ESPNu’s focus is coverage of college athletics.
Channel 27:
LMN will replace Nickelodeon
LMN provides women-oriented movies and shows.
Channel 40:
TV One will replace BET*
TV One provides lifestyle and entertainment programming targeted towards black American adults.
Channel 51:
Great American Country (GAC) will replace CMT
GAC is a Knoxville, Tennessee based network that features country music and entertainment programming.
Channel 59:
Revolt Network will replace TVLand*
Revolt Network, founded by Sean “Diddy” Combs, provides music-oriented programming.
Channel 65:
UP Network will replace VH1*
UP Network offers “uplifting music and family entertainment”.
Channel 77:
MTV will no longer be offered.
Broken Bow/Pine Rural would like your ideas about what we should carry on this channel. Please send us your suggestions on the attached form or call our office.

* As of the date of this notice, we continue to negotiate these programming agreements but anticipate completion by month end and launch no later than May 1.
